Develop customized solutions for industrial bakery customers

  • Develop and perform bakery application test of functional ingredients (enzymes, starter cultures, yeast and it’s derivates).
  • Define, evaluate and score the quality attributes in the final product.
  • Analyze recipes and process circumstances at international industrial bakeries.
  • Use this knowledge in combination with the requirements of the customer to develop tailor-made solutions and recognize the cause of to solve problems.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting at bakeries based on request.
  • Work closely together with the other Bakery Application Specialists, Sales, R&D and Customers.
  • In this role you will report to Bakery Applications Manager.

Functie-eisen / Key aspects

Analytical baker driven by innovation who can cross the bridge to the customer

  • Bachelor in Food Technology, Food Innovation or similar
  • Experience in the development of functional ingredient systems/concepts based on enzyme technology in bakery applications
  • Experience with applying/implementing new ingredient solutions on an industrial baking line.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Enjoy traveling and engaging in other cultures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
